GLOBAL PEERING FORUM 2017
The Global Peering Forum (GPF) builds on an effort started by multiple commercial organizations over 15 year ago. GPF is an independent, non-profit organization designed to advance the business interests of individuals involved in peering and interconnection. As of June 2016, GPF is an incorporated entity with an initial board of directors, ratified bylaws, and is in the process of applying for 501(c)(6) recognition from the U.S. IRS as a non-profit business league. The current board consists of representatives from seven past GPF host organizations and two external, globally-operating interconnection participants. GPF will begin offering membership in fiscal 2017 and board elections will begin in mid-2018.
The Global Peering Forum is a yearly networking event that promotes interconnection among networks, content, cloud, and digital media organizations and related entities. The 2017 meeting will be the 12th such meeting. This year’s GPF host sponsors are AMS-IX, CyrusOne, DE-CIX, Equinix, JPNAP, LINX, Netflix, and NL-ix. Decision makers from global ISPs, CDNs, cloud and interconnection service providers, will join together for three days of meetings, presentations, and networking events. GPF 12.0 will be held from April 24-27, 2017 in New York City.
Join IPTP Networks in the Sheraton New York Hotel, in New York (NY) for 3 days full of networking, presentations and discussions that will focus on peering and interconnection.
